The story goes that Charles Tanqueray, the founder of the company, visited Spain in the 1860s, and was greatly impressed by the quality and flavour of the nation’s oranges, particularly those found in Seville writing a gin recipe centered around them.
In 2018, Charles Tanqueray’s plan finally came to fruition, with Tanqueray reviving the 140 year old recipe with this bottling.
The result is a citrus-gin, packed with notes of zesty, fragrant juniper, rich vanilla, allspice, lemon and lime, and fresh orange juice.
